Ingredients
3-4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 c. Chicken Brown
4 Tbsp Taco Seasoning (For an extra kick, substitute this seasoning for the Fajita Seasoning found at the Louisburg Cider Mill Country Store)
1 Bag Tortilla Chips
3-4 Green Onions, chopped
4 c. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Optional: Top with Louisburg Cider Mill Black Bean and Corn Salsa found at our Country Store as well
Instructions
Cook chicken in a slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low in chicken broth
Reserve 1/2 c of broth from the slow cooker after chicken is cooked
Remove chicken and shread
Add chicken and taco/fajita seasoning to the slow cooker and turn to low for 30 minutes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place tortilla chps on a 9x11 sheet pan
Drain juice from chicken and spread over chips
Sprinkle cheese over the top and place in oven until cheese is melted
Drizzle Louisburg Cider Mill Honeycrisp Apple BBQ Sauce over the nachos
Sprinkle green onions and other preferred nacho toppings over the mixture
