A Full Day of Fun, Family, and Lasting Memories
Fall is one of the best times to visit Louisburg Cider Mill. As the leaves change, you can see apples being pressed into fresh cider, smell freshly made apple cider donuts, and taste both in our Country Store.
Fall is also when our Family Farm opens for the season and our free-admission Ciderfest comes to the Cider Mill for two special weekends, complete with music, crafts, food, drinks, and a wide range of family activities.
Family Farm Opens September 11, 2026
Make a full fall day of your Ciderfest visit with a trip to the Family Farm.
Take on our 10-acre Stars, Stripes and Scarecrows corn maze celebrating America’s 250th, pick out a pumpkin, visit the farm animals, take a wagon ride, and explore even more activities for kids and adults.

Scouts can enjoy a special Family Farm weekend, with additional details and admission savings available for qualifying visitors.

Visit Our Country Store for Cider, Donuts, and Fall Favorites
The Country Store is open year-round to the public, but fall is when apple cider comes in freshly-made, hot, cold, or as a cider slush, while fresh apple cider donuts come in hot and ready to enjoy.
You’ll find a country store stocked with seasonal home decor, candles, candies, and other goods, alongside foods, gifts, preserves, spices, and Lost Trail Craft Sodas.
Fresh Apple Cider and Cider Donuts Made Right In Front of You
Fall is our active cider-making season at Louisburg Cider Mill. A free experience, visitors can see apples being pressed into cider and watch the bottling process in action. Apple cider donuts are also made throughout the day, ready to be served fresh.
Guided tours offer an even closer look during the fall season, and include a glass of cider and a cider donut.
Gather Around a Private Fire Pit
It’s also fire pit season at the Family Farm. Private fire pit areas give birthdays, family gatherings, company outings, and other groups a place to gather during their Family Farm visit. With hay-bale seating, plenty of firewood, picnic tables, and more, you and your guests can create your own country farm experience.

Guests have another way to experience the Cider Mill. In our Tasting Room, sample Louisburg Hard Cider, fruit wines, Perry (a refreshing, fermented beverage made from 100% pear juice), and rotating Estate Series hard ciders, or enjoy a glass on the patio. Our Estate Series hard cider is made from our own Williamsburg, Kansas orchard.
