During our fall guided tours, your group gets a closer look at what happens behind the scenes during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year at the Cider Mill.
Watch apples being pressed into fresh cider, see our famous apple cider donuts being made, and enjoy both in the crisp fall air. Depending on the timing of your visit, you may even catch a glimpse of fresh apples being unloaded and brought in for pressing.

Fall is our most active production season at Louisburg Cider Mill, giving guided-tour groups an opportunity to see two of our best-known products being made.
During your tour:

Up-Close Learning: Bring Your School or Youth Group to the Cider Mill
Louisburg Cider Mill guided tours give students an opportunity to see food production outside the classroom while enjoying a fall experience.
Teacher resources are available for classroom extension and enrichment.
We recommend approximately one adult for every 10 children.
Long pants and tennis shoes are appropriate for time on the Family Farm.

Free self-guided tours are available year-round, typically Monday through Friday from 9 am — 3 pm and on most fall weekends.
Keep in mind that live cider production is limited outside the fall season!
Planning Your Guided Tour at Louisburg Cider Mill
Group Size: Guided tours are available for groups of 15 or more.
Hours: Tuesdays — Fridays, 9 am — 2 pm
What to Wear: We recommend long pants and tennis shoes, particularly for groups visiting the Family Farm.
Children’s Groups: Approximately one adult for every 10 children is recommended.
Payment: Payment must be made by check, cash, or credit card before the tour.
Deposit: A $50 deposit is required for all scheduled tours.
