Apple Cider – One Gallon Jug
We’ve been squeezing apples since 1977 and have found that takes from 32 to 36 apples to create one gallon of apple cider. One cup of cider (8 fluid ounces) provides the nutritional equivalent of two fresh apples. Drink two apples a day… Have a glass of cider!
Unlike many cider brands, Louisburg Cider Mill Apple Cider is not “watered down”. Our Cider is 100% Apple Cider – NOT FROM CONCENTRATE! We pasteurize our Apple Cider and use only apples from the good old USA. Yes, we continue today as we began, determined to make our Natural Cider the best anywhere in the country.
In case you’re not familiar with real Apple Cider, but, when you have pure, unfiltered apple cider, it’s cloudy. This is Cider with no preservative, sweetner nor additive of any kind. That means we don’t take out the good stuff. Apples have a high pectin content and recent reports have shown that natural pectin lowers cholesterol. Apples also contain strong antioxidant compounds called flavonoids that may be among the many reasons for the apple’s reputed ability to keep the doctor away! Healthy and delicious… We think that’s a great combination.
Our natural, unfiltered, pasteurized, no preservatives added Apple Cider has an unlimited shelf life.
We also offer Cider Spices and Cinnamon Sticks to go along with your Apple Cider purchase – See “Dips, Spices & Vinegar”.
